After reading the reviews I was a little nervous but the place was very clean, beds really comfortable and staff very friendly. I am not big on breakfast so we didn't eat it. Each day they had a bar full of drinks and snacks that were a welcome site after a long drive and a long day on campus.

Property was close to the University of Alabama where the presidential debate I was covering was located. Food close by appeared in safe area

We loved the location! We were going to the game and was right there at University mall to catch the bus! Room was clean and comfortable.

The staff tried to help as much as they could by helping us change rooms within ten minutes of arrival because the our 1st room was dirty and had broken furniture. The 2nd room the ac cover fell off at 2 in the morning waking us up.

Stayed one night to visit a friend at University of Alabama. Really great spot for the price! Front desk staff was sharp and helpful, parking lot is brightly lit, room was small, but clean and everything worked well. Comfortable soft bed and pillows. Close to campus.

We were in town for a baseball tournament. The location and price were perfect. The room was clean and comfortable. I was traveling with my son and I felt safe there. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was pretty good. The bathroom was the right size. The bed was comfortable.

Property was very convenient. Price was too high for a 1 queen room. Staff was very friendly. Requested extra towels and blanket and the staff was extremely quick and brought it right up.

I really enjoy Microtel hotels. They're small and cozy, and from the ones I've stayed in, clean. The bed was the best part. The bed was better than the $400 a night hotel I've stayed in! It also had a really nice, large mini fridge. Didn't use it, but I thought that was nifty.
